Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Qualified for: Complete refund excluding processing expenses
Time for Processing: 5-7 working days
Handling Charge: €50 for credit card payments
Criteria: A written request is necessary via email or telephone communication
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Qualified for: Half the entire cost of the charter
Time for Processing: 7-10 working days
Handling Charge: €25 is subtracted from the refund total
Criteria: A legitimate reason is requisite; administrative charges are deducted
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Qualified for: Refunds are not available in this window
Exception: Cases of emergency might be taken into account
Alternative: Credit for future charters may be offered based on management's decision
Criteria: Evidence is necessary for emergency-related claims
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Commitment to Weather Safety
We put safety at the forefront. If the captain, certified by us, decides that weather conditions are hazardous for charter operations, we present several options:
- Complete Refund: If rescheduling isn't feasible, a full refund will be provided
- Rescheduling: You can change your charter to a later date without any extra cost
- Charter Credit: We issue credit valid for one year from the original booking
Procedure for Weather Evaluation
Assessment of weather is conducted through:
- Analytics on wind speed and direction
- Assessment of sea status and wave heights
- Forecasts on visibility and precipitation
- Alerts and advisories from the Coast Guard
- Evaluation of safety by our professional captain
Timeline for Decision: The resolution regarding weather cancellations is made no later than 4 hours before the charter.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Events Qualifying for Emergency Consideration
We are sympathetic to unforeseen medical emergencies. The incidents that might fall under this are as follows:
- Sudden medical conditions or injuries necessitating hospital admission
- A close relative's death
- Enlistment emergencies or urgent recalls
- Jury service or a legal summons
- Natural disasters affecting travel routes
Required Proofs
For emergency refund requests, you must provide:
- Evidence from a medical institution or a medical note
- Certificate of death (when relevant)
- Official military directives
- Summons for court or notice of jury duty
- Advisories for travel or emergency declarations
Procedure: Upon receipt of appropriate documentation, emergency refund applications are processed within 3-5 business days.
Mechanical Failures and Operational Cancellations
Issues Regarding Yacht Mechanics
In the event of mechanical difficulties with the designated vessel that preclude resolution:
- Substitute Vessel: We will try to provide a yacht of comparable specifications
- Complete Refund: If a suitable replacement is unavailable
- Partial Refund: If the substitute yacht's cost differs
- Additional Compensation: Extra reimbursement can be contemplated for the trouble caused
Availability of Crew
On the occasional instance where an approved crew is not obtainable:
- We will arrange for an alternative crew if possible
- A full refund is provided should the charter be unable to proceed
- Rescheduling without extra expense
Procedures and Policies on Refund Processing
Methods of Repayment
Refunds are reprocessed through the original mode of payment utilized at the time of reserving:
- Credit Cards: Credited within 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: Credited within 7-10 business days
- Cash or Check: Processed within 3-5 business days

Handling Fees for Credit Cards
A fee of €50 for cancellations beyond the 72-hour mark
Processing for Bank Transfers
A fee of €25 for all refunds via bank transfer
Handling for International Transactions
Additional costs may be applied for cross-border transactions
Policies on Charter Credits
Offering of Credits
Under certain circumstances, credits for future charters may be suggested instead of refunds:
- Late cancellation instances (under 24 hours before)
- Cancellations due to weather instability
- Voluntary changes requested by the customer
- Charter disruptions owing to operations
Details on Credit
- Period of Validity: Valid 12 months from date of issuance
- Transferability: Credits cannot be transferred to others
- Worth: Equal to the full price of the charter, with no handling fees deducted
- Utilization: Applicable towards any available charter
- Expiry: Credits will not be prolonged past the 12-month period
Refunds for Partial Services
Interruptions in Service
Should your charter be disrupted or curtailed due to reasons within our control:
- A proportional refund in accordance with the unused portion of the charter
- Credit matching the unspent time for a future charter
- Complimentary service offerings or enhancements
Disturbance Caused by Guests
If the charter is terminated ahead of time due to guest misbehavior or safety infractions:
- No reimbursement for the portion not used
- Payment in full is still obligatory
- Extra costs may apply
Resolving Discrepancies
In the event of a dispute over a refund decision, you can:
- Ask for an evaluation by our executive team
- Present further proof or documents
- Seek mediation from consumer advocacy groups
- Explore legal actions in compliance with relevant law

Our team will acknowledge receipt of your request within 24 hours, weigh it against our policy, provide a judgment within 48 hours, and carry out approved refunds as per the indicated time limits.
Additional Notes of Importance
- All applications for reimbursements must be submitted in a written format
- Refund transactions are handled in €, irrespective of the currency used initially for payment
- We highly recommend the purchase of travel insurance
- This policy is subject to adjustments, with notifications given 30 days in advance
- Refunds are subject to the laws and taxations applicable
